Most students will study nine subjects for GCSE which includes core subjects of English Literature, English Language, Mathematics and the three Sciences. Students will then choose four further options from a wide range of humanities, languages, creative, practical and expressive subjects. There are no column blocks to restrict pupil choice and we seek, as far as possible, to provide each child with a unique timetable that suits their particular strengths. The GCSE curriculum helps prepare pupils for the greater challenges of studying A-levels in the Sixth Form.
