We are exceptionally proud of one of our students who has created this amazing artwork for the residents of Haviland House, a dementia care home run by Guildcare.
Harvey’s grandmother lives at the home and he thought that she and other residents would enjoy having a new piece of art for Christmas. He asked the residents to share some ideas about what they would like in their home and this is the final piece. Our marvellous Queen stands centre stage surrounded by a field of poppies. He thought it would be nice to commemorate the loved ones lost in the war. In the background is the grand Tower of London. Flying overhead is a spit fire displaying appreciation for our wonderful NHS!
He hopes that this painting will give the family members at Haviland a lot of pleasure at this difficult and lonely time – he really enjoyed creating it.
Harvey, we are very proud of this fabulous gesture!
