All the pupils in Sion Juniors were given the fantastic opportunity to take part in an extremely busy STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) Week.

The pupils all took part in a range of activities which included researching famous scientists, debating scientific topics, making windmills and following nature trails.  A group from Reception to Year 2 watched some exciting experiments in the Senior School labs, whilst other groups worked with an engineer to build their own bridges and investigated how the 3D printer works. During a special whole school Beach School, the children tested out how water and wind could power different objects. The Gadget Shop also proved extremely popular!

By the end of the week, there are clearly a few budding scientists and engineers amongst the children!
