Our Lady of Sion’s Upper Sixth students were rewarded for all their hard work by celebrating another 100% pass rate. Just under 83 % of students’ grades were A* – C and initial value-added analysis demonstrates the excellent progress students make.

Developing independent learning skills is embedded throughout the curriculum and the success of this is demonstrated in the students’ Extended Project results with 33% A* and 67% A. Biology grades were excellent again, with 58% A* and A grades.

Our former Head Girl, Aisha Stitt, deserves particular praise achieving A*A*AA and will be reading Mathematics and Philosophy at Bristol University. She collected her results after returning from a four-week expedition to Cambodia working on a number of community projects. Jamie Cundy, who was also in Cambodia with the school over the summer, obtained A*A*BB and will be studying Biology at York University.

Dr Orchard, Headmaster, said: “Our students and staff have worked incredibly hard to achieve these results. They have been a wonderful cohort, supporting each other in their studies and wellbeing. We shall miss them next year and wish them every success and happiness in the future as they take up their university places around the UK.”
