Some of our french students had a treat during their lesson as they celebrated Epiphany with a traditional Galette des Rois. In France, Epiphany is celebrated on 6th January with a Galette des Rois – a french cake made of pastry with an almond filling. A figurine or ‘fève’ is hidden in the cake and whoever finds it in their slice becomes king (or queen) for the day. Our students really enjoyed sampling this delicious cake!
