UK winner of the Cassini scientist for a day competition, 13 – 15 years is Blaise.
More than 1400 students from across Europe participated in the European Cassini scientist for a day competition 2016-2017. Entrants to the competition wrote a 500-word proposal backing one of three targets for study.
Students could choose between: ice plumes at the south pole of Enceladus, the lakes of Titan, and the hexagon at Saturn’s north pole.
Coordinated by ESA, essays were judged by a panel of experts of each participating country.
