Dome Cinema 100 Anniversary Gala Celebration

Two of the schools' three winners of the Dome Cinema Scrapbook Competition attended the Dome Cinema 100th Anniversary Gala Celebration on 10th December, which saw the launch of the scrapbook which their artwork appeared in. They also watched two of the first films shown at the cinema acompanied by Neil Brand and the Prima Vista Social Club, playing specially written scores to accompany the silent fims.
After the evening, Tom said; "I really enjoyed the Dome Cinema Anniversary Evening as it was a splendid time. The two films, Laurel & Hardy's 'Big Business' and Harold Lloyd's 'Safety Last' were extraordinarily amusing, and were complemented with the music from the band that was playing. A very enjoyable night"
