Cake Sale in Aid of William's Fund

Two students in year 8 organised a charity cake sale to raise money for William's Fund. William is a 3 year-old boy, who suffers from a rare metabolic condition for which there is no cure. His family are working hard to raise the money for him to have a bone marrow transplant. Megan knows this little boy through the playgroup he attends, where her mother works. She and her friend Petrina decided that they would hold a cake sale during one school lunch time to help with the family's fund-raising. They sold a mouth-watering array of cakes, made by pupils in their form at school. Almost all of the cakes were sold, and Megan and Petrina made over £115 for William's fund.
