Early Years - Nursery and Reception
 At
Our Lady of Sion, your child’s happiness
is our first priority and he/she will be
able to grow as an individual in a stimulating,
yet comfortable and secure environment. We work
in close partnership with parents to ensure that
children are nurtured and able to develop into
self-confident and social individuals, who are
willing to learn, are kind and caring and who integrate
well with their peers. There is an excellent staff/pupil
ratio and staff are well qualified, dedicated and
experienced. We participate in the West Sussex
Nursery Education Grant, which helps you to get
the very best education for your child at Our Lady
of Sion School.
The Nursery is situated in a light and spacious self-contained unit adjacent
to the main school building. The large Reception classroom is on the ground floor
of the main Junior School. They both have easy access to their own exciting outdoor
play area with safety surfacing and are very fortunate in being able to take
full advantage of the excellent facilities offered by the Junior School. Hot
lunches are available to children attending Reception, charged on a termly basis.
