Year 6 Young Enterprise

Year 6 pupils at Our Lady of Sion Junior School spent a day learning about global trading last week, when Georgina Angele of 'Young Enterprise' spent the day in school with them, as part of the school's enrichment programme. The pupils started off the day by examining a range of imported products and undertook a variety of practical activities designed to increase their understanding of international commerce. The day was jointly funded by the school, parents, and Sion Friends' Association.

Young Enterprise is Business Education Charity, which offers a range of enrichment programmes to schools, suitable for pupils at primary and secondary level. Their aim is to inspire young people to learn and succeed through enterprise, to help them develop business and economic understanding, and to gain personal experience of how business works.
