Pupils who have signed up for the World Challenge Malawi/Mozambique are already hard at work raising funds towards their trip. Some of them held a cake sale at break at the end of February and raised nearly £100!

EasyFundraising.org.uk  http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/register-supporter/?char=47917
Mr Conway has registered our school with this fundraising website to help students raise the money neccessary for them to take part in World Challenge. It does not cost anything to register, but everytime members shop with registered stores, easyfundraising donate to our World Challenge fund. Please visit the website and consider enrolling to help us with our fund-raising.
How it works
Easyfundraising is the simplest way to raise funds for your good cause. You shop online with your favourite stores and you raise money at the same time. It's that easy.
We work with thousands of well known retailer including Boden, M&S, Argos, Vodafone and many more. Our retailers love supporting good causes and will donate a percentage of your spend to your cause when you shop with them through the easyfundraising site.
For example, spend £50 with Boden and you'll raise £1.25. Insure your car with the RAC and they'll donate up to £30 to your cause. Take out a new mobile contract with Vodafone and raise up to £45.00...we could go on!
What's more, we work closely with our retailers to find voucher codes and discounts so you can save money on your shopping too.
And with our Find & Remind tool, we'll even tell you when you start to shop with an easyfundraising retailer, no matter where you are on the web. Which means your cause will never miss out on a donation from our retailers.

Sounds good? Then register today - it's as easy as 1,2,3
1.Firstly, register for free and tell us which cause you want to support - you can either support a cause that we already work with or register a new cause. Either way, it's completely free.
2.When you've registered, you're ready to shop and raise money! Simply click on the retailer you want, then shop as you would normally. When you make a purchase, we'll send you an email telling you how much you've raised and pass the donation to your cause.
3.That's it! We tried to think of step 3, but we couldn't - it's just that easy.

Extract from a letter to Namibia Participants from Mark Burgess Namibia, World Challenge Leader, after the Expedition
You may not realise just how much you will have taken from everything involved in the build up and participation, but I hope that for a long time to come you will do something, say something or react in a particular way and the way you do it will be as a result of the experience(s) in Namibia.
In my time with you, you represented the school well, you did your parents proud, but most of all you should be proud of yourselves and what you did. I am very proud to have been part of your journey. It galls me that my contact with you should now cease, and that I will not be able to find out what you go on to do and achieve, so lastly, you all had the motivation to challenge yourselves on this endeavour, so please never stop challenging yourself. Always set yourself goals to strive for and achieve, whether it be physically, academically, professionally or personally!
I am sure you will all do extremely well in the future.
Comment from School Expedition Leader, Colin Conway
"Overall, the Namibia World Challenge was a fantastic success and went as well as I could hope.  All aspects of the project were enjoyable, from the initial planning through to the expedition itself.  I was very proud of our students' efforts and the Team's achievements whilst at Waterberg School.  I believe it was a very worthwhile experience for all those involved and it was especially rewarding to watch our Challengers develop, gain new skills and grow in confidence throughout the process."
