Spanish Exchange to Granada 2012

13 students, from Our Lady of Sion in Worthing, accompanied by Señorita García and Mrs Rolf made the return exchange trip to Colegio del Ave María San Isidro in Granada from the 3rd to the of 6th May. The Worthing students stayed with the family of the Spanish student who they had hosted when they visited Worthing. After having lunch with their host families, they went to school to enjoy La fiesta del día de la Cruz, then they had a big merienda and some of them even danced flamenco! On Friday they were welcomed by the city council education authorities at the City Hall, who took the students to a tour through the building. Then they visited the beautiful Plaza Bibrambla, where they enjoyed the famous churros con chocolate. In the afternoon they visited the world known Palace of the Alhambra, and then spent the evening having tapas with their host families. On Saturday, they spent the day on the beach and on Sunday they had the day free with their host family before flying back home to Worthing.
