Headmasters' Foreward
October 2012
Dear Parents
I am pleased to write this foreword for the Senior School Parents' Handbook. In providing you with this book we continue to develop and improve the lines of communication that exist between home and school. I hope that you will take the time to read it and find all the information you need.
The education of your children is a responsibility that we take very seriously and, as we all know, this task is one that we achieve together. By working with you we can provide students with the very best opportunities possible.
Our aim is to continue to create an environment where each individual is valued and encouraged to develop their talents to the best of their ability. As we move into the next phase of our development, it will be essential for us to remind ourselves constantly that we aim to educate young people so that they can take their place and be effective citizens in the wider world. Our earnest hope is that our students will leave us imbued with the spirit of Our Lady of Sion - a spirit deeply rooted in respect, tolerance and understanding.
Please do not hesitate to contact me if we can help in any way.
Yours sincerely
Michael Scullion
Headmaster
