Law & Philosophy
The Law and Philosophy A Levels are a recent addition to the sixth form curriculum. Both courses provide students with the opportunity to engage with the syllabus in a dynamic way. The learning skills acquired through studying these subjects at A Level are essential for most higher education courses. Students are encouraged to reflect upon the society around them, its structure and values as well developing their own opinions and reasoning. Debate and critical thought are central to the teaching of both subjects.
In Law, we follow the OCR specification H134 at AS, and H534 at A2.
In Philosophy, we follow the AQA specification 2170
