KS1 Mr Sunbeam Energy Workshop

Junior School pupils in KS1 & 2 learned about how energy is made, and how they can play their part in conserving and saving energy in their homes. KS1 pupils (Year s 1 & 2) had an interactive story of the Five Sunbeams, which helped them understand how all our energy originates from the sun, and how we need to be careful using this energy so we can help protect our planet.
The sessions were presented by David Rees, and his assistant,  from The Environment Centre, which is a charitable organisation, which aims to support and promote environmental best practice. They run a programme of  workshops, which deliver the message about looking after the environment in a fun and inspirational way.
