Junior School SFA Christmas Fair 2011

The Junior School Friends' Association held their Christmas Fair on Saturday 26th November, in the Senior School Hall. The Fair was a great success with a huge range of different stalls and games on offer. It was well attended by parents, pupils, family members and friends of the school, and raised a fantastic total of over £1,900 for the SFA funds.  One of the highlights of the afternoon was Santa arriving on his motor-bike, aided by elf-for the-day, reception class teacher, Mrs Sarah Sutherland!
The Junior School 'Head for the Day' raffle, in which two children from the Junior School had the opportunity to win the chance to be Headmaster/Mistress for the day, raised £216 which will be donated to the new Children's Accident and Emergency Department at Worthing Hospital. The winners were Grace in Year 2 and Jake in Year 6. They will be taking on their role on Thursday 15^th December, when they will be taking an Assembly, giving the Admissions Officer a tour of the Junior School, and meeting the Headmaster, Michael Scullion, in his office.

The Sion SFA Committee Members would like to say a big thanks you to everyone who helped out at the fair, and to all who came along to support the Fair.
