Jun Sch Yr 5 Adur Activities May 2012

Year Five took part on the annual two-day visit to the Adur Activities Centre in Shoreham on the 24/25th May. The sun shone and this helped to make the trip a great success. Activities included : Kayaking and raft-building on the river in the afternoons, wall-climbing, problem solving and a mountain-bike ride along the banks of the Adur.
Children were able to participate in all activities and many were doing them for the first time. Children were challenged to try out the activities and do their best. Everyone had a great time and learnt new skills and some children found out they could do more than they had previously thought. It was good to see children having fun and learning new skills at the same time.
