Clubs & Activities

Junior School Clubs and Activities 2013

There are two flourishing Choirs and an Orchestra. Private lessons are available in a range of musical instruments, as well as in Speech and Drama. Details are available from Mrs. Carmody (Music) and Mrs. Huxley (Speech and Drama).

After-school activities include Football, Netball, Rounders, Cricket, Art and Science, Choir, RSPCA,Cookery, Spanish, Chess and Tennis. 

Spanish Club is available to pupils from Year 1 and Tennis Club from Year 2.

Festival Choir Thursdays finishing 4.30pm; 2nd May - NO FESTIVAL CHOIR, 9th May, 16th May, 23rd May - Y.5 at Adur - NO FESTIVAL CHOIR, HALF-TERM, 6th June - Y.6 at Bowles - NO FESTIVAL CHOIR, 13th June, 20th June, 27th June - Open Evening, NO CHOIR ON 4 JULY.
Art and science (Years 5 & 6 only)
 Alternate Tuesdays, Art Room 16.00 - 17.00. 30 April (Out at Davisons), 14th May, HALF-TERM, 4th June, 18th June, 2nd July.
RSPCA Alternate Tuesdays. Year 1 classroom 15.30 – 17.00. 23rd April, 7th May, 21st May, HALF-TERM, 4th June, 18th June, 2nd July. Children should be picked up from the front door at 17.00. There will be a charge of £1 for the year.
Cricket Club

Mr Bridson - Years 5 & 6 on Mondays in the Senior School 3.45pm-5pm.
Mr Bridson - Years 3 & 4 on Thursdays in the Senior School from 3.45pm-5pm
Pupils to be collected from the Senior School. Clubs will start in the week beginning 22nd April and the last club will be on Monday 24th June. (Thursday 27th June is Open Evening).
Rounders Club

Mrs H Jones - Year 5 & 6 on Mondays at Manor Sports Ground from 4pm-4.45pm.
Mrs H Jones - Years 3 & 4 on Thursdays at Manor Sports Ground from 4pm-4.45pm. 
Pupils will be taken to Manor Grounds and should be picked up from Manor Grounds at 4.45pm. (If you have a problem with picking up from Manor Grounds, please see Mrs Jones.) Clubs will start in the week beginning 22nd April and the last club will be on Monday 24th June. (Thursday 27 June is Open Evening). No Rounders on 20th and 23rd May or 3rd and 6th June as Mrs Jones is out of school.
Tennis Club Every Wednesday. 3.45-4.45pm. Junior School Playground
