Charity report Easter 2011

We are delighted that over £600 was raised on 16th March for Comic Relief through the home clothes day and a pizza fundraising lunch.

A further £200 has been raised to date for Chestnut Tree House and the Chanctonbury Playscheme following our cake sales and lunchtime soup kitchens.  We would like to thank pupila and parents for all the support they so generously continue to give to our various fundraising activities which enables the school to raise these fantastic sums.

We all saw the distressing images following the devastating tsunami and earthquake that hit Japan, and on Friday of  25th March we will be raising money for the appeal by providing a pizza lunch at a cost of £2.00. 

The Children’s Suitcase Project was very successful and we would like to thank everybody who has donated books and other school related equipment. 

One of our sixth formers, Ali Baynes, is raising money for his World Challenge Expedition to Namibia by having a sponsored haircut.  This will take place at lunchtime on Friday, 1st April. 

Also on that day, hot dogs will be on sale at a cost of £1.00 each to continue our fundraising for Chestnut Tree House and the Chanctonbury Playscheme.  Hot Cross Buns will also be on sale.
